You would need a Canadian study permit to study in Canada, which serves as a student visa when you are staying in Canada. If your study program lasts 6 months or less, then you would not need a Canadian Study permit. The fees to submit your university applications depend on the country of your origin and the university you are applying in. But if you are an international student from a developing country, you might be able to get this fee waived.
There are other expenses than just tuition fees, like residence and your daily expenditures. You can read more about them on our other posts and gain more information before you apply for a Canadian study visa.
